Heather Rosen
Heather Rosen is a Senior Research Associate in the Department of Global Health, at the Milken Institute School of Public Health of the George Washington University. She has over seven years of experience in public health, statistics, and research. She supported the implementation of several trials of community health worker interventions to improve maternal and newborn health in South Asia and conducted analysis to evaluate health worker performance, pregnancy complications, and preterm birth. She managed a seven-country study of maternal and newborn care at health facilities in sub-Saharan Africa using direct clinical observation and led the analysis of quality of care, including supplies and infrastructure in labor wards, national policy support, and assessment of obstetric skills of providers. She holds a Master of Public Policy degree from Georgetown University.
